1988 Centennial Park

Based on advice from a loved one, I went to the main branch of the Long Beach library to check out books to help with the job search. The library is massive (much larger than the main branch in Marietta - no offense to the GA folks!) There are some other office buildings there as well. For those of you in the know, it's on Ocean right past Pine. I had to park in a parking garage and on the way to the library, I stopped and took a picture of this "park". In case you can't read it, it says "1988 Centennial Plaza". I have been scouring the internet for history about this but I can't find anything. If any of you are really bored and find anything, please let me know!
